A Thief in the Night time

Kete is a snitch. She comes around to the window at night and tells us someone is stealing the dinner that Taja leaves until later. I go out, and for sure there is a thief, sitting in Taja’s bowl, eating the eggy remains. The thing is, Taja doesn’t really mind, for the thief is her little friend. I had already discovered this thief, hiding in the grass when I was weed-eating around the beech trees last week, and I let him be. Of course, give him an inch, blah blah blah, so now he is no longer a thief in the night time, he is bold as brass and showing his cute little snout in the broad daylight:
